I decided to start blogging on March 24, 2012 because I was inspired by one of my favorite beauty bloggers and Youtube Filipina make-up gurus, Miss Chriselle Sy. It was also a chance for me to bring back the old days. I used to write for our school paper in high school and college. I also thought that it would be a healthy diversionary activity since I stopped working as a grade school teacher and became a work at home mom. It would keep my neurons growing despite all the usual routines that I do at home. I didn't want to be inflicted with Alzheimer's Disease!
Staying at home doing chores and taking care of the kids with a home-based business on the side without a helper was no joke! In those times, all I could say was "Some days are better than the others..." This was what I thought about blogging whenever I was so exhausted from the day's work.

I did product reviews and shared tips that I thought would help moms. But I wasn't able to do it consistently because I was confused and stressed out when my 2nd child became very, very active as he was growing. The business was down too due to too much competition. My blogging stint started to have no direction. I stopped for a while.
On May 2013, I remembered to check out my blog. That time, I was already determined to continue blogging. I missed it so much! Everything was smooth-sailing! I adjusted in rearing a toddler and my business was doing well again. I never looked back. My attitude was more optimistic and driven then ideas came in. I was sure that day on that I would be a full fledged "mommy blogger".
I edited my blog site. I enjoyed reading blogs about web page design and I got more inspiration from other mommy bloggers. I kept on updating my blog and asked my close friends for comments and suggestions as they critique my site. It made me strive to improve.
Then e-mails for product reviews and event invitations started to pour in. I feel so honored to know that advertising companies, media outfits, and readers around the world read and appreciate my articles. It makes me happy to read their nice feedback. I would literally blush and my husband would tell me, "O ayan si Mama, kinikilig na naman!"
I never thought that a simple mom like me would have a space in mommy blogging. When I write my articles, I do it without pretensions. I do it from within. Let me share with you the photo I saw at the cutestblogontheblock.com...
It's so true! What you read is me! I love blogging because it makes me happy. It becomes a part of my routine and I can't imagine living my life without doing it!
Last October 29, 2013, I, together with other mommy bloggers received an e-mail from Miss Nadtja Villaver, Sales and Marketing Executive of MediaCom Solutions, Inc., stating the following letter and info:

At first I was hesitant to submit my registration form because it was my first time. Frankly, I was so shy. It was something new for me. Imagine, me, a new mommy blogger would be invited to participate in blog awards? But when the deadline arrived, I immediately filled-up the form and submitted it to Miss Nadj's e-mail without batting an eye. It would surely be fun and exciting!
Being invited and recognized by Baby & Family Expo Philippines 2013 as one of the mommy bloggers who provide quality content on the online community is an honor for me. All I can do is to do what I usually do--- to write and share tips, events, experiences, and products that will make parenting a blissful one and the best experience a parent has ever had!
Thank you so much, MediaCom Solutions, Inc. and Baby & Family Expo Philippines 2013 for this great opportunity!
