Kuya's Grooming Kit Essentials

Posted on 04:04 by thinger
Letting your child bring his own grooming kit in school is highly encouraged due to unforeseen incidents that might happen like spillage, excessive sweating after playing, etc.

Moms should know the basic items to be found in their child's grooming kit. All these could be placed in a shoe box or clear plastic box (if teachers want their pupils to leave them in their classroom) or expandable plastic envelope (if it is obliged to be brought home daily).

1 extra set of uniform
2 white shirt
3 undergarments
4 socks
5 handkerchief
6 face towel
7 tissue paper
8 wipes
9 alcohol/hand sanitizer
10 liquid soap
11 cologne
12 baby powder
13 mosquito repellent lotion/patch
14 comb
15 toothbrush
16 toothpaste
17 washable plastic bag for soiled clothes

How I Keep Them Organized

1 I place them in three separate zip lock plastic bags or small clear pouches per category before putting them inside the shoe box, clear plastic box, or expandable plastic envelope.

Category A (Clothing) extra set of uniform, white shirt, undergarments, socks, handkerchief, plastic bag for soiled clothes

Category B (for Washing) face towel, tissue paper, wipes, liquid soap

Category C (for Grooming) alcohol/hand sanitizer, cologne, baby powder, mosquito repellent lotion, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste

2 Choose travel size items for them not to consume too much space in your child's locker, cubbyhole, or school bag. Just remind your child to inform you when items are needed to be replenished.

3 Label all items with your child's name, grade, section, and school.

4 Tell your child to take care of his grooming kit by storing it properly and keeping items in their right pouches after each use.

5 Remind your child to bring home his soiled clothing if there's any. Don't forget to replace it the day after.

Optional Items

cologne, baby powder, mosquito repellent lotion/patch
I don't recommend cologne and baby powder for kids who have allergies or asthma. Mosquito repellent lotions/patches are for older children who are very attractive to mosquitoes like my son. Make sure that your child is responsible and old enough to know how to use them properly. Just to be safe, you may apply the lotion or place the patch on your child's clothing before he leaves.

Recommended Products

I recommend these products because they were "tried and tested" by yours truly and I found them very effective.

They are made from natural products that's why they are safe for kids. You may purchase them in leading department stores, outlets or dealers near you, and online too. Click product name to see its details and/or claims.

Say Goodbye to Skin Irritations in No Time! Use TINY BUDS SCRATCH OFF! Natural Soothing Cool Gel

Posted on 00:57 by thinger
It breaks my heart to see my kids wake up in the middle of the night or being interrupted in their activities when they are bitten my mosquitoes. I am also worried when my husband is exposed to extreme temperatures that can cause him to have occasional contact dermatitis attacks.  Their skin is very sensitive---blisters form and affected areas become red, very itchy and dark eventually within two to three days.

I've tried using various brands, from expensive to inexpensive ones. Some of them are effective but I am not sure if they are really safe for kids despite their claims.

I feel blessed and relieved because I was given a chance to try TINY BUDS SCRATCH OFF! Natural Soothing Cool Gel. It worked in an instant! It was like magic! Believe me!

Tiny Buds claims that...

Tiny Buds Scratch Off!Natural Soothing Cool Gel is specially formulated with natural ingredients to help soothe skin discomfort, insect bites and other minor skin irritation.

It comes in light and non-greasy gel for easy application.

If condition persists or worsens, consult a  doctor.

Natural Soothing Cool Gel to help soothe common skin irritations. Apply directly to the irritated area. Re-apply as necessary. Best for children and adults.

In My Opinion...

TINY BUDS SCRATCH OFF! Natural Soothing Cool Gel is one of the most safe and effective brands that I used to help soothe our family's skin discomfort, insect bites, and other minor skin irritations. In less than five minutes and not more than ten minutes, I've seen how it made wonders!

It has mild mint or mentholated scent and gives off soothing, cooling effect.

The mosquito bite on my left hand became flat and itch-free after two minutes.

The mosquito bite on Kuya's knee became flat and itch-free after three minutes.

The contact dermatitis on my hubby's torso became flat after five minutes.
NOTE: I also applied Tiny Buds Scratch Off! on Bunso's mosquito bite and it became flat after 10 minutes. I couldn't take photos of him because he was mobile! For Bunso and Hubby, I had to re-apply the gel to make their skin irritations itch and trace-free.

Tiny Buds Scratch Off! comes in a sleek, spill-free 50 ml bottle with a pump and safety cap that slips easily in a small pouch or pocket. All the information about the product can be found on its box and bottle itself.

I  love this product so much! It can ease skin irritations in no time! Thanks, Tiny Buds!

DIRECTIONS
  • To clean a single baby bottle, just add 3 to 4 ounces of water plus 1 pump of Tiny Buds Bottle and Utensil Wash. Brush as needed, then rinse thoroughly with running water and sterilize.
  • To clean used baby bottles, utensils, and accessories soak in a basin of water plus 2 to 3 pumps of Tiny Buds Bottle and Utensil Wash. Scrub until clean, then rinse thoroughly with running water and sterilize.
  • To clean vegetables and fruits, add 2 to 3 pumps of Tiny Buds Bottle and Utensil Wash in a basin of water. Soak for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with running water.

3 pumps in 12 ounces of water are enough to clean feeding bottles dishes, utensils, and even the sink!

You may find all the information you need to know about the product on the entire packaging.

    How I Used It

1 I rinsed the feeding bottles with warm water to remove left over formula.

2 I put 12 ounces of water in a basin and added  3 pumps of Tiny Buds Bottle and Utensil Wash.

3 I brushed, rinsed them in running water, and sterilized them.

4 I used the solution again to wash our dishes and clean our sink.

    In My Opinion...

PROS:  Tiny Buds Bottle and Utensil Wash is thick, colorless and has a mild green apple scent which prove to be pure and mild. It's thick consistency has a powerful cleaning action. In just 3 pumps (about 1 1/2 teaspoons) in 12 ounces of water, feeding bottles, dishes, utensils, and sink have been cleaned and washed. Soap suds have been washed off completely after rinsing.

Take note, all articles washed became odor-free, grease or dirt-free, and sparkly clean!
My hands didn't dry and smelled fresh and clean too!

While sterilizing my son's feeding bottles, I noticed that the steam coming out the sterilizer's snout was odorless unlike when I used my old cleanser. It made me feel secured that all the residues were entirely removed while washing them in running water.

The absence of SFS  (short for sodium lauryl sulfate), surfactant and foamer usually found in industrial-strength cleaners, made it safe. My son wouldn't ingest cancer-causing elements.

The packaging is very nice, sleek, neat, and informative where all the details about the product are written.

    It is readily available too.
You may purchase it at selected Watson Stores., Mercury Drugstores, Baby Co stores, Rustan’s Department Store and Supermarkets Shopwise Supermarket, Robinson’s supermarket,  Babyland, Numa, Toys ‘R Us, Landmark, Unimart, Cash and Carry, Pioneer, Makati Supermarket, Metro Gaisano, Puregold Duty Free, Shoppers Mart, Waltermart, Bora Budget Mart, Sta. Lucia Mall,South Supermarket, Cherry Foodarama, Baby Steps, Citimart, LCC Supermarket, 360 Pharmacy, Gaisano Capital, Fooda Supermarket, Iloilo Supermarket, Gaisano Mall  of Davao, Alturas Supermarket & Department Store, LCC Department Store, HB1, NCCC, NCX, Ororama, & Lopue’s Department Store.  If you want to buy online, just log-in to Facebook and go to Tiny Buds Official Page.

It is real value for money. It's not just safe but economical too! I am glad to have a chance to use this product. I've experienced that it really works! It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
